  • Position Overview/Duties:
    • Position Duties:

      • Serves as Deputy Director of the HPCMP. The selected candidate will work under the general supervision of the Director of HPCMP, ITL.
      • Represent the HPCMP Director at meetings or other events when requested
      • Assist the HPCMP Director with supervisory tasks
      • Support the HPCMP Director in developing and executing the HPCMP strategy and program.
      • Review and assess Army, Joint Service, and DoD regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and to assess impact upon HPCMP mission execution.
      • Work with the Director to establish long-term personnel planning.
      • Develop a holistic view of HPCMP activities and initiatives.
      • Provide programmatic leadership on advanced computing technology and trends on behalf of the HPCMP Director allowing the HPCMP to speak with one voice with stakeholders, customers, and internal staff.
      • Responds to congressional, OSD, DoW, military services, and DoD agency data calls and provide requisite materials for briefings, meetings, etc. with the support of HPCMP Director and/or Chief of Staff
      • Provides oversight of the HPCMP Public Release, external messaging content, and social media.
      • Lead planning and execution of initiatives assigned by the Director.
      • Frequently engage with the HPCMP Associate Directors to maintain awareness of various initiatives, contracts, and personnel efforts.
