      Salary Range: $93,716 – $121,837

      Eligibility Requirements:

      • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.

      • This position requires you to be TDY up to 15% of the time.

      Responsibilities/Duties:

      As the Electrical Engineer, you are responsible for reviewing, inspecting, and testing electrical systems and equipment installed in both military and civil projects. The incumbent oversees all types and phases of electrical and construction operations. In collaboration with the supervisor, they assist in planning and scheduling field construction activities, providing recommendations for grading methods and problem-solving solutions based on their in-depth knowledge of the work and field conditions. The engineer also consults with contractor representatives and the supervisor on major, complex, or technical issues. Additionally, they keep the supervisor updated on field developments and the status of work at various stages, offering special advice on progress concerning specific aspects of the construction.

      Basic Requirement:

      Engineering: Bachelor's degree (or higher) in engineering. The program must: lead to a degree in a school with at least one program accredited by ABET. Degree must be documented on a transcript.
