The Far East District is looking for current GS-07 employees for Non-Comp Reassignment or GS-08/09 employees seeking a Voluntary Change to Lower Grade
About the Position
Serves as an Administrative Support Assistant (OA) with assigned responsibility for performing variety of administrative and clerical support functions involved in missions for the USFK Invited Contractor program and plans for and assures the timely and expeditious accomplishment of a variety of automated, security, administrative, and property accountability functions in support of the Far East District (FED), Logistic Management Office (LMO).
Major Duties
- Provides administrative and program support by managing records, preparing correspondence, and ensuring accurate documentation and reporting.
- Coordinates and processes requests, applications, and actions in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintains and analyzes data systems or tracking tools to monitor program activities, identify issues, and support decision making.
- Serves as a liaison to stakeholders by responding to inquiries, facilitating communication, and supporting overall program operations.

- Pay retention may be offered to selected applicants for positions at overseas locations. Pay retention will not be offered as an incentive for employees moving between overseas positions.

Minimum Experience Requirements
In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience:One year of specialized experience which includes performing administrative or program support work; coordinating and processing actions in accordance with established policies and procedures; maintaining records or tracking systems; and communicating with stakeholders to support organizational operations. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
Time in Grade Requirement:Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
