  • Position Overview/Duties:
    • 1. In accordance with ARTICLE 28 of the Negotiated Agreement between the US Army Corps of Engineers and AFGE Local 2187, we are conducting an informal solicitation for the subject vacancy in the Strategic Integration Office at the Pittsburgh District Office. Per AFGE Local 2187, Article 28, interested employees are encouraged to submit an application under the lateral transfer opportunity and the vacancy announcement.
      2. If any eligible employees are interested in a voluntary lateral reassignment to this position, please respond by 1200 hours 24 October 2025. E-Mail responses, to include current resume, to Elaine Lisk, with CC to Joyce Voynick.
      3. In accordance with the agreement, management may or may not exercise this option based on project and area organizational needs. However, this is viewed as a possible opportunity to strengthen our organization from within and will be given careful consideration.

      Minimum Education Requirement: High School Diploma

       

      Minimum Experience Requirement: administrative support to the Executive Office, management and oversight of administrative programs and lead administrative officer for the district.

      • This position requires that the incumbent possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles.

      • Relocation (PCS) expenses may be authorized (subject to available budget) if the selecting official determines the relocation is in the best interests of the government.
