- Position Overview/Duties:
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
- Serves as Huntsville Center’s authority for industrial hygiene involving hazardous or toxic materials, including lethal military chemical warfare agents. Develops and implements requirements, standards, guidelines and regulations to protect safety and health of personnel at remediation sites.
- Prepares, and reviews, scopes of work, accident prevention plans, activity hazard analyses, and other SOH documents. Recommends approvals for the adequacy of safety compliance assessments, hazard analyses, site specific safety plans and other complex safety documents.
- Functions as an HNC technical specialist for industrial hygiene/occupational health regulatory and technical requirements for the OP program.
- Supports the Command Safety Program.
