- Position Overview/Duties:
Serves as the Chief Financial Officer of the Transatlantic Expeditionary District (TAE). This position may include duty in various locations including Kuwait. Plans, manages, and directs the District's overall Resource Management Program and its various components of financial management, budget management, and management analysis. Supervises and directs subordinate professionals, as well as providing direction to financial management professionals, technicians, and clerical personnel engaged in accomplishing the District's resource management mission through Reachback support in the Middle East District. Have overall responsibility for all district level resource management and financial management activities, to include automation under the Corps of Engineers Financial Management System (CEFMS).
Manages, directs, and supervises an integrated system of resource management and financial staff services, including the District's finance and accounting system, budget management system, financial reporting system, manpower management system, and management analysis program. Advises the Commander and other District managers with respect to all operational aspects of the district, including resource management aspects of mission planning, analysis and accomplishment. Provides authoritative information regarding financial and other resource management matters, including evaluation, program analysis, and projections of the District's operating budget and documentation of financial management activities.

Must be able to obtain and maintain an official government passport.
A stateside duty location, working out of a USACE office other than Winchester, VA may be acceptable.
