- Position Overview/Duties:
This is an internal announcement for a Budget Analyst, GS-0560-11, in the South Atlantic Division, Jacksonville District, Real Estate Division, Planning & Control Branch.
Position Title: Budget Analyst
Who May Apply: This position is only open to CURRENT, PERMANENT USACE EMPLOYEES. You must be a GS-11 to qualify.
Open Period: 19-25 August 2025
Duty Location: Jacksonville, FL.

- Current permanent USACE GS-11 will be considered for reassignment.
Duties:
- Provides budgetary and administrative support to the SAJ Real Estate Division
- Assists in administering the Division’s annual budget in support of Civil Works and Military programs
- Assists the Division’s Acquisition Branch in estimating, requesting, and tracking of labor charge codes in support of large Civil Works programs
- Supports the Division’s Management & Disposal Branch/Leasing team in processing rental and utility payments for civil and military in-leasing, to include the Joint Recruiting Facilities Program
- Participates in recurring meetings focused on budget execution and reporting at monthly Program budget Advisory Committee meetings

The Jacksonville District is the second-largest civil works District in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, with an area of responsibility that encompasses the state of Florida. We provide quality planning, engineering, construction and operations of a large civil works program, including ecosystem restorations, coastal storm risk management, flood risk management, navigation, emergency response, and other products and services. The District is located in downtown Jacksonville at the crossroads of I-95 and I-10 offering favorable commute times from across Duval County. Jacksonville is home to the NFL’s Jaguars, minor league ice hockey & baseball teams, professional indoor football & ABA basketball teams, NASL soccer, and closely situated to the annual TPC at Sawgrass.
