      Eligibility Requirements:

      Responsibilities/Duties:

      • Serves as the Business Analytics Specialist for the South Atlantic Division Business Analytics Branch in Atlanta, GA
      • Employee drives agency innovation and delivers actionable insights and data-driven recommendations with respect to data analysis, data visualization, and business intelligence. Will have knowledge of data analysis techniques and procedures to include analyzing data, creating reports, and developing data visualizations to inform business decisions. 
      • Utilizes a range of tools and technologies, including Microsoft Power Platform (Microsoft Power Automate, Microsoft Power Apps, Microsoft Power BI), Tableau, and other data analytics tools, as necessary. Prepares presentations, writes reports, and builds data visualization products to communicate technical results and insights to decision-makers with varying levels of analytic sophistication. 
      • Technical Skills: 
        •Experience with data analysis and visualization tools, such as Power BI, Tableau, and Qlik Sense.
        •Proficient in writing SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from various databases, including Oracle and other database management systems. 
        •Ability to apply advanced analytical techniques, such as data modeling, predictive analytics, and data mining, using Python and R. 
      • Assesses data sources to determine the types of data available and how to import data into systems and models to reduce or eliminate manual reporting or processing requirements. Extracts relevant information from historical datasets and applies statistical and analytical techniques to evaluate information in relation to its impact on decision-making. 
      • Interfaces and collaborates with senior leaders and decision-makers, staff elements, and others to refine understanding of underlying business problems and devise possible solutions. Participates in working groups, meetings, conferences, briefings, and seminars related to data analytics and visualization, program planning, and business operations.
