Position Overview/Duties

As an A-E Services Support Branch Design Manager, you will:

 

 

• Serve as a Contracting Officer Representative (COR) for A-E services contracts or task orders in the review, approval and timely processing of partial and final payment requests to A-E contractors.

• Assist in acquisition planning and acquisition strategy for A-E service contracts in consideration of mission requirements.

• Serve as a technical expert in A-E Source Selection Evaluation Boards overseeing board activities in evaluation findings and documentation of selection process and recommendations to the Selection Authority and Contracting Officer for award.

• Serve as an Engineering Division consultant to all technical personnel on A-E contractual matters, advising on procedures and requirements; such as, the development of detailed A-E scopes of work to procure task order delivery of A-E services.

• (GS-13, Senior) Serve as a technical expert in the coordination of engineering responsibilities concerning solicitation preparation, selection evaluation, negotiation, and award of Architect-Engineer service contracts.

Minimum Education Requirement: Engineering Degree & P.E. or R.A.

Minimum Experience Requirement: Two years USACE experience, design and A-E COR experience preferred.
