Job Description:
Responsible for administering the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Administrative Appeal Process within the Major Subordinate Command (MSC).
Serves as the Major Subordinate Command technical expert and Review Officer.
Responsible as the Review Officer on permit applications for activities in waters of the United States (US) and/or navigable waters of the US within the regulatory authority of the Clean Water Act and others.
Oversee permit denial actions of district commanders and for issued permits declined by applicants, in resolving administrative and technical differences between federal agencies and the public.
Exercise delegated authority to act on behalf of the Major Subordinate Command Commander in conducting full review and evaluations of an administrative appeal for approved jurisdictional determinations.
