This job opportunity is open to CURRENT, PERMANENT USACE EMPLOYEES ONLY.
This is an internal announcement for a Program Support Assistant, GS-0303-08 in the Real Estate Branch, Norfolk District, North Atlantic Division.
Who May Apply: This position is only open to current permanent USACE employees with time-in-grade eligibility at the GS-07 or GS-08 levels.
* Current permanent USACE employees, with time in service requirements at the GS-07 level, will be considered for temporary promotions not to exceed 120 days.
Open Period: 2 February to 15 February 2026
Duty Location: Norfolk, VA
MAJOR DUTIES:
Assist and advises the Chief, Real Estate Division/Office, in formulation, development and direction of administrative personnel management policy matters. Provides and secures substantive personnel management and administrative services required to support the Real Estate missions. Plans, coordinates and performs work involving several processes. These include management/personnel management analysis studies such as; workforce and workload analysis; position management, employee training requirements, employee development, etc.; public and business relations; and a variety of other administrative functions, including property management, security matters, and logistical support. Plans, coordinates and manages personnel management functions and personnel actions.
This is a non-supervisory position.
