Position Overview/Duties

Duties:
• Serve as contract specialist responsible for pre-award and post-award actions, including price/cost analysis, negotiation, administration for services, construction, MILCON, supply, and Architect-Engineer (A-E) requirements.
• Prepares solicitation/amendment documents incorporating provisions such as cost or pricing data, government furnished property, and payment provisions as required.
• Prepares required determinations and findings, formal and informal acquisition plans and strategies, and other preaward documents in assembly of the solicitation.
• Responsible for contract management on assigned contracts during the post award phase of the procurement cycle.
• Monitor contractor performance through verbal conversations, correspondence, reports review of payment vouchers, and periodic visits to the contractor's facility or work site.

SHIFT WORK: Less than 50%

TRAVEL/TDY: 15%
