Position Overview/Duties
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for certain competitive positions to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: As an Assistant Master, XH-5784-14, the incumbent will work under the general supervision of the Master, who issues oral and written instructions pertaining to sailing orders and overall plans of operation, but is entirely responsible for the navigation of the vessel while underway.
