Position Overview/Duties
- Serve as District IT Specialist responsible for System Administration planning, coordination, modification, implementation, and troubleshooting to support District customer needs.
- Develop standard problem resolution methods and procedures for use in problem resolution databases.
- Conduct system administration (SA) studies and recommends necessary IT action pertinent Division/District SA support.
- Provide interpretations of higher authority regulations and guidance concerning IT system activities/services and coordinate with higher-level USAGE levels concerning the resolution of problem areas encountered.
- Execute staff direction, operational coordination and review regarding IT policy and planning issues of subordinate offices.

- In accordance with DoD 8570.01-M dated 19 Dec 05, C3.2.4.1.1.2. The incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain Information Assurance Technical level II certifications.
- Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain at least one computing environment certification (ex: HDI Technical Support Professional, A+ or Network+) within six months.
