Position Overview/Duties
SUBJECT: Recruit for a Temporary Assignment or Promotion, GS-0341-11, Administrative Officer, Strategic Integration Office
1. Purpose: Recruitment for a temporary reassignment or promotion opportunity NTE 120 Days as a GS-11, Administrative Officer. This position reports directly to the Strategic Integration Office Chief and provides administrative support to the Executive Office (Commander, Deputy Commander, DPM and Chief of Staff).
2. Applicability: Temporary non-competitive NTE 120-day promotion/assignment opportunities are authorized under 5 CFR
3. Eligibility: All applicants must meet time in grade requirements for the GS-11 level, 52 weeks at the GS09 level or above. In addition, applicants must not have held a non-competitive temporary assignment (e.g., detail, reassignment, or temporary promotion) within the previous 52 weeks. Our Civilian Human Resource Servicing Center (CHRSC) will review qualifications of selected applicants.
4. Statement of major duties and responsibilities: Serves as principal administrative officer to the Executive Office:
a. Management and oversight of administrative programs
b. Lead administrative officer for the district
c. District Awards Program Manager
d. District protocol manager
e. Review, draft, post and prepare documents for executive leadership signature
f. Wide variety of other administrative support duties to include managing Outlook calendar appointments, researching regulations and policy, processing personnel actions and preparing a variety of reports.
5. Period of Assignment: Local non-competitive assignments with promotional opportunity are subject to a maximum of 120 days within a 52-week period. Anticipated start date:
NLT 16 November 2025

Minimum Education Requirement: High School Diploma
Minimum Experience Requirement: Familiarity with administrative programs, Familiarity with District Awards Programs, Document preparation in accordance with established protocols
Demonstrated knowledge and ability to manage OUTLOOK calendars, creating appointments, research regulations and assist with travel arrangements.
