    Position Duties

  •  

  • Performs various building and equipment maintenance associated with the RBR powerplant
  • Operates and maintains two dissolved oxygen injection systems for the RBR and J Strom Thurmond reservoirs
  • Maintains the potable well water systems for the RBR project in accordance with public water system requirements
  • Maintains records and data in connection with all maintenance and repair work

    This opportunity is being announced through the USACE Voluntary Internal Opportunities Program (VIOP).     • A pre-employment medical examination is required. If selected, satisfactory completion of a medical examination is required before assignment to the position."
    • This position is a Testing Designated Position under the U. S. Army Drug-Free Federal Workplace Civilian Drug Testing Program. Incumbent may be required to sign a DA Form 5019, Condition of Employment for Certain Civilian Positions Identified Critical Under the Department of the Army Drug-Free Federal Workplace Program.
    • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time.
    • This position requires the incumbent to obtain and maintain a Class 4 potable water system state license.
